Helen Grace

Helen_small.JPGWe mourn with the Mantegnas at the loss of Helen Grace, Christine's grandmother and the mother of Sue Mantegna. Our prayer is that God's peace that passes understanding would comfort Sue and her family during this difficult time.

Christine left yesterday for Baltimore to be with her mom and family for the funeral, which is today. She'll stay up there until Thursday. I only wish I had the physical strength to be there, too.

Greg...thanks for the tribute to my mother...It will notify our friends who are carefully watching your progress. The chaplain who was with us at the time of my mother's death is adding you and Christine to the prayer list at a monastery...and also the pastor who held the funeral service will be praying for the two of you.

Greg,
we're sorry you couldn't go to Baltimore too! Thank you for putting that very pretty picture of Helen. I know alot of people enjoyed seeing her picture and you comments. We're praying for you each day and know your in God's perfect will. And he is taking care of you. This will soon be over and you'll be all better. Looking forward to the Mantegna's wonderful Christmas and all that good food!!!Right??

Please tell Christine to feel free to call me while she is in Baltimore. DC is just 30 minutes away on the train...
