Date and surgeon
I will be having my surgery at MD Anderson hospital in Houston.
The surgery is currently scheduled for Jan 5. This date could change due to my health - I have to not be sick from cold, etc.
The technical name for what I am getting done is thoracotomy and mutliple wedge resections.
My surgeon is Dr. Wayne Hofstetter.
(He seems about my age. Who's to say we young folks can't pull the heavy weight in this world!)

He certainly looks confident. It oozes from the picture.
Taking it one step at a time, we will be praying first and foremost for your staying healthy prior to the surgery. Then we will launch into a prayerful stage 2 for January 5. In the meantime, Merry Christmas to you both. I spoke to Sarabeth today and she told me all about her trip to see you guys. Love, Fran & Terry
Great for us OLD guys to be able to pray for you young guys. GOD bless you and yours this Christmas Season and may the blessings of Christ abound with you.
