Master-of-things-web needed
Is there anyone out there who is a master of web-stuff who could help me automatically transfer this blog from its MovableType home to an easier to manage blog foundation. I was thinking of using blogger. I'd like to retain the archive articles and comments. I have some ideas how it can be done, but am not adept at writing scripts that access the web.
On a related note, I'd also like to be able to format all these articles (around 350 in this journey) for hardcopy-friendly formatting.
Any help or pointers?

i like wordpress for blogging personally - but i am not an expert by any stretch of the imagination
Pete Pagan sent me your link... I will transfer you to a wordpress blog hosted for free on my server. I only work in wordpress. there is no charge. You have to have your own domain or your domain can be what-ever-you-want.electroniccarpenter.com I do not buy your domain. Should you choose to want to migrate your domain away form my server in the future you can easily download the db and move serves. You will just have to let me know what you would like to do. Should you want to give to the ministry that supports this service that is between you and God. My offer has no strings or hidden costs.
Thanks
PJ
Happy Friday Sir Greg:
Have contacted a colleague here, Lori Lacy, who will be in touch about your Web assist. Please know you and Christine are consistently in our thoughts.
God Bless,
BoB E.
Hi!
Bob Nichols said you might need some assistance with this. Wordpress is the way to go (I've used it in several sites so far with much success).
Wordpress has a tutorial on how to import movable type: http://codex.wordpress.org/Importing_from_Movable_Type_to_WordPress
I would suggest doing a wordpress installation on your current site (easy as pie!) and then moving your current information over.
Bob has my contact information if you have specific questions or need assistance.
Happy to be of service!
Lori
