Hi Greg! Great to hear that you are doing okay and survived the horrible pain. Mia would love Sir Koff-a-lot! I hope he is helping you endure those lung exercises - hang in there! We all miss you and are thrilled about your successful surgery. Love, sarah & family

Greg,
So sorry to hear of your pain. Civil War battlefield screaming is vivid and horrific. Glad the Lord brought you through to the other side.

Greg, I have been reading, both to myself and to my mother, Jackie, your blog and we both want to send our thoughts, wishes, concerns, and caring your way. We will continue to follow, think, and worry about you and Christine. You describe everything so eloquently, but I still cannot imagine what you must be feeling. I'm glad your surgery was successful but I don't know how you (or anyone) could deal with such pain. Even though you deny it, you are a very strong and courageous person. We are thinking of you. Hey,
You are one strong guy. I had a similar operation after a car accident with an undiagnosed collapsed lung and I remember the tubes, coughing with pillows, and breathing exercises very well. I do NOT have any memories of failed pain meds, though. YIKES. I've functioned quite well at 90% lung capacity for over 25 years. When yours is measured in 25 years, we'll compare notes.
Love to all.

I’ve been thinking, “Boredom, good. Biting a bullet, bad.”
Hang in there, man.
