Resurrection
As I consider how weighty (or unweighty) my troubles are, I like to recall these words of Yale church historian Jaroslav Pelikan. He uttered them shortly before dying in 2006:
"If Christ is risen, nothing else matters. And if Christ is not risen -- nothing else matters."
Easter blessings to you.
"If Christ is risen, nothing else matters. And if Christ is not risen -- nothing else matters."
Easter blessings to you.

Amen! Christ is risen. He is risen, indeed! Alleluia.
Greg and Christine --
Happy Easter. Please know that we continue to keep you both in prayer every day.

That's exactly right! Nothing else matters. Thanks for the link to this exceptional man and his body of work.
Makes me feel better about my brackets.
Amen.
As Paul said in Philippians(sp??), I would rather be with Jesus, and that will be wonderful, but for your sake, I would rather to be here (paraphrased from memory, so pardon me for posible misquote).
The study and meditation on the Book of Revelation have convinced me that our God is the most un-boring and exciting being, the greatest musician, the greatest vocalist, painter, beauty maker, not to say the incredible richness of His imagination, and the power to implemen and give them life etc, etc.....such as wisdom and love, etc, etc.
May God bring you to complete healing.
Henry
Hallelujah, praise the Lord.
Amen brother
Ahhhh, this is a quote with so many layers of feeling and a depth beyond our comprehension. Thank you for sharing it. I was thinking of the gift of you just yesterday and now you are giving all who read your blog a glimpse into your faith. I appreciate you. Thank you. He is risen, and it is all that matters.
God's blessing to you and yours.
Jenny
