No Hospital Trip ... Yet

I just spoke with Christine; so far Greg has been able to hold down fluids, though he is still in a lot of pain and has pretty strong nausea. Please continue to pray that he can get the nausea under control and begin taking pain medicine, and be able to rest.

Greg and family
May the loving arms of our Lord bring you relieve from all the symptoms of great discomfort, grant you patience of heart, peace like a river, and unwavering hope, as you come through the tempest which leads total victory.
It is not only amusing to read through your message of Jan 2, 2004, but uplifting as well. You have indeed uplifted my spirit inspite of what you have gone through. For the first time in my life, I have some appreciation of what Moses expressed in Ps.90 that "all our days pass away under Your wrath, and we finish our years with a moan".(a sigh according to Chinese translation). 2003 has indeed been an extremely tough year for many of us. But the one with the toughest assigment from God, has become the source of inspiration for those of us, who are under afflictions of a lesser magnitude. Amazing!
I see in you and your family, the living witness of God's goodness, as experienced and expressed by Paul centries ago in II Corinthians "Ch1:3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion, and the God of all comfort, 4) who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble, with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. 5) For just as the suffering of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows."
Emmanuel,
Henry
